The New South Wales Minister for Fair Trading, the Hon Anthony Roberts MP, seeks nominations from suitably qualified persons for appointment to the Minister's five Advisory Councils.

The appointments are for a period of approximately 14 months, to 30 June 2013.

The Fair Trading Advisory Council, Motor Vehicle Industry Advisory Council, Home Building Advisory Council, Property Services Advisory Council and the Retirement Villages Advisory Council provide the Minister with advice in relation to fair trading and consumer protection issues.

In relation to the Home Building Advisory Council, the Minister seeks nominations from members of the community who represent interests of consumers, hold a contractor licence, or who are Australian lawyers.
